SWIFT MEAT PACKING PLANT RAIDS
 

Recent large immigration raids had a disrupting effect in some communities and in some families. The Martinez family, whose name has been changed for this report, had six members taken into custody on December 12, 2006, when the immigration and customs enforcement agents raided a swift meat packing plant in Hyrum, Utah.
