IVAN ROMAN
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) is having its annual convention in San Jose, California this week. Host Maria Hinojosa interviews NAHJ executive director Ivan Roman to get an update on Latinos in journalism.
RADIO ONDAS
Every year, the National Association of Hispanic Journalist gives student journalists the opportunity to work with media veterans to produce radio stories. Many paericipants in the Radio Ondas project have than gone on to successful careers in the media industry. Host Maria Hinojosa chats with long time mentor, NPR's Mandalit del Barco and former mentee, Day to Day producer Shereen Meraji.
