SEVEN WONDERS CONTEST Earlier this month, the new Seven Wonders of the World were announced, after a seven year competition to choose the world's most awe-inspiring sites. Three of the new seven wonders are in Latin America: Machu Piccu in Peru, Chichen Itza in Mexico, and Christ Redeemer in Brazil.
