BILINGUAL EDUCATION
 

Spanish is pretty unpopular in some parts of the country. Libraries have stopped buying books in the language. Cities have passed English-only laws. And three states have banned public bilingual education. But some parents are so eager for their kids to learn Spanish, they're willing to pay for it. And more than a dozen private dual immersion schools have opened nationwide over the past few years to cash in on the interest. Reporter Lygia Navarro visited the newest of these schools in Oakland, California.
