The United States is a top destination for people trafficked for sex and labor. For those from Mexico who manage to escape trafficking, few resources exist. Reporter Brooke Binkowski takes us to one of the two safe houses in Mexico, in Tijuana. Then, she and Maria Hinojosa talk about efforts to combat sex trafficking in San Diego and how, surprisingly, tighter border security may be increasing the number of trafficked people.
