Laura Calçada reports on the celebration of Sant Jordi (Saint George, Patron Saint of over 35 regions, including Catalonia). She covered a series of events that took place in New York City to celebrate the festivity. Writers, philosophers, translators and even kids, explain what this tradition that celebrates love and culture it’s all about.
During the piece we listen to Latino tunes on the piano interpreted live by pianist Albert Marquès. Also the piece “Poètica” by composer and bassist Alexis Cuadrado.
