This morning on WNYC’s Brian Lehrer show, Latino USA anchor and executive Maria Hinojosa shared the latest updates about Donald Trump’s “Saturday Night Live” November 7 appearance and the decision by the Republican National Committee to not have NBC host any future Republican debates.
I’m a Black Man from Harlem and a proud listener on WNYC and was intrigued by your most recent “discussion” with two Mexican guys (apparently US Citizens) who decided
to vote against Democracy last year.
One cited the economy, the other was vague but seemed to lean toward masculine, “ no Woman, ever!” and honestly, I may have had him wrong. Both from Texas and both “White Presenting”.
They BOTH LOOK WHITE AND VOTE RED!
A Woman as President?!
One darker than they!?
Not for them.
Could you have not had two individuals with (as I am used to on an NPR sponsored show) wit opposing views?
This was the most disappointing interview I have heard, ever as I learned nothing. Two guys passing for White with no knowledge of why the economy has tanked recently and have used their white skin to join the Maganistan Nation and turn their backs on their own people.
Sad. I am proud of my Black Heritage and even as a light-Skinned Black Man, I would NEVER sellout my People as was represented by these guys.
