Smartphones can do just about anything now. Using voice activated tools like Siri, you can send emails, looks up restaurants and set reminders for yourself—but only in one language. For those who speak Spanglish and want to send messages in two languages at once, the amazing power of smartphones falls short. Reporter Brenda Salinas tested the limits of Apple and Google’s respective Spanglish capabilities and found out why integrating two languages at once isn’t as easy for a computer as it is for our brains.
