Laura Calçada reports on the celebration of Sant Jordi (Saint George, Patron Saint of over 35 regions, including Catalonia). She covered a series of events that took place in New York City to celebrate the festivity. Writers, philosophers, translators and even kids explain what this tradition that celebrates love and culture is all about.

During the piece, we listen to music played live by pianist Albert Marqués. We also feature the piece “Poética” by composer and bassist Alexis Cuadrado.
