In a photo shared on Instagram earlier this week, a few dozen senior students from McDowell High School in Marion, North Carolina, posed in front of a wall made of cardboard boxes, blocking access to a common area in the school with the caption, “We built the wall first.” According to ABC affiliate WLOS, students were allowed into the school to perform a senior prank with a teacher supervising them, and despite complaints from Latinos students at McDowell and many social media users, the students will not be disciplined.
