Latino USA went to the political conventions in Cleveland and Philadelphia and talked to Latinos inside and outside the arenas to see how they felt about the candidates and the rhetoric.

We met “Latinas For Trump” who shared their support of a controversial candidate, spoke with a high-ranking RNC official about Latino voter outreach, and met a college student who felt scared of Trump supporters.

At the DNC, we spoke to a “Bernie or Bust” Latino voter about sitting out the election, we heard from influential lawmakers about voting the party divides, and talked with one of the most well known undocumented activist about his fears this election.
