While the Los Angeles neighborhood of Boyle Heights has been fighting against gentrification, community members have also stepped up to reclaim their space. In a video posted Wednesday on Facebook, Galore followed L.A. Chicana Feminist collectives Chulita Vinyl Club and Con Fuerza Collective to show how they’re using their love of music and social activism “to preserve their communities and create inclusive environments for people of color and the LGBTQIA community.”
