
President Donald Trump and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have made it very clear they will continue to fulfill their promise to crackdown on illegal immigration. In a recent enforcement action, ICE officers arrested 650 individuals nationwide during a four-day operation.
But aside from ICE officers showing up and knocking on immigrants’ doors, how else is the Trump administration executing this plan?
In an interview with Latino USA, Alvaro Bedoya, Executive Director for the Center on Privacy and Technology at Georgetown University, said some of the technology designed to find terrorists abroad is now being used to track immigrants.
