The last few weeks in U.S. politics have been a roller coaster, to say the least.

Things then reached a boiling point on Sunday, July 21st when President Biden announced that he would not be seeking re-election and he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to become the Democratic presidential nominee.

Almost immediately after Biden’s blessing, Harris began to receive endorsements from across the Democratic Party, delegates began to pledge their support to her, and within 24 hours she raked in $81 million for her campaign.
But how do voters feel?
On this episode, we revisit Maria Hinojosa’s 2023 one-on-one interview with Vice President Harris where they talked about mobilizing the Latino vote, immigration, reproductive rights, critiques about the Democratic Party and much more.

We also hear from Latino USA listeners in Florida, New York, North Carolina, Virginia and more states about how naming Vice President Kamala Harris as the presumptive presidential Democratic nominee for this November’s election is impacting their decision to go out and vote, or not.
