Cándido was at work when ICE agents pulled up in white vans to his job. ICE blocked all the entrances, making sure that no one could run. Cándido was shoved into a van with his coworkers. It was only because of a digital watch he wore that his family knew what had happened to him. Then his family and community began to fight. 

On this episode, we bring you Cándido’s story and then, Maria Hinojosa speaks with Cal Matters investigative reporter Sergio Olmos about a map that exposes ICE’s strategy. With the help of Evident Media and Bellingcat, they put together the most comprehensive map to date. Using geo-locations from videos of raids, they’ve been able to provide a visual aid for the terror that many have experienced.
