When you are a global superstar, like Bad Bunny, filling stadiums throughout the United States is standard. But Bad Bunny has subverted those expectations by welcoming his fans to his native Puerto Rico. The 31 date residency was not just a celebration of home, roots, and resistance, but a 3-hour, 30 song marathon that immersed fans in love and pride. 

In anticipation of La Brega’s upcoming third season, all about campeones de Puerto Rico, the team gathered to discuss one of our biggest campeones: Bad Bunny, obvio. 

Together in San Juan, a seis millas de la casita de Benito, Alana Casanova-Burgess, Ezequiel Rodríguez Andino, Laura Pérez, and Maria Garcia share their reflections on Bad Bunny’s residency. 

They discuss his evolution from boasting trapero to joyous salsero, and their four different experiences at four different shows over the last three months. Plus, some hints at what’s coming up on La Brega Season 3.
