Gail Emrick
Gail Emrick is an international health and economic development specialist, with a joint Master’s Degree in Public Health and International Affairs from Columbia University. Gail has lived, worked and raised her family in Latin America and the U.S.-Mexico border region for almost 30 years. She serves as the Executive Director of the Southeast Arizona Area Health Education Center, a health workforce development agency based in Nogales, Arizona. Her office window literally looks out at the border wall and beyond. She is an Arizona native, and a Tucson Public Voices Fellow with The Op-Ed Project.
