Jeanne Montalvo Lucar
Jeanne Montalvo Lucar is a Grammy-nominated audio engineer at Latino USA. Since 2006, she’s worked for notable institutions and events, including the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Tanglewood Music Festival with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera Restoration project and live recordings with Spike Lee and Al Cooper. Her recording of Multiverse by the Bobby Sanabria Latin Jazz Big Band was nominated for Best Latin Jazz Album at the 2012 Grammy Awards. Later in 2017, she was nominated as Mastering Engineer along with Meyer-Media for Vladimir Horowitz: The Unreleased Live Recordings. She broke into radio after receiving her Masters in Music Technology from New York University, working as an audio engineer and producer for National Public Radio and Bloomberg Radio. When she’s not nerding out on audio and technology, she loves ballroom dancing and enjoys attending local live music shows.
