Max Siegelbaum
Max Siegelbaum is a co-founding editor of Documented, a nonprofit newsroom that covers New York City’s immigrants and the policies that affect their lives. He is a graduate of the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism at Columbia University and has written for newspapers in Denver and Pittsburgh; Foreign Policy, The Guardian and STAT, among other outlets. His reporting has forced two pension funds to sell over $7 million in private prison stock. He was part of a team that won a Deadline Club award for reporting on how stolen guns end up being used in crimes across the U.S. for The Trace.
