A few weeks ago, mitú’s Alex Alvarez, Brenda Gonzalez Ricards of Tamarindo Podcast and a few other listeners discussed the need for a list of Latino podcasts. Since Latino USA is also available as a podcast, our team said it would take on the task of beginning to curate a list. So we wanted to give a quick shoutout to the few but strong Latino podcasts still releasing new episodes. It is after all, still Hispanic Heritage Month.

Radio Ambulante

Radio Ambulante is a Spanish-language podcast that shares long-form narrative stories from Latin America and anywhere that Spanish is spoken, including the United States. The show is hosted by Daniel Alarcón. For more episodes, click here.

Tamarindo Podcast

Self-dubbed as a “socially conscious talk show with a Latino vibe,” hosts Brenda and Luis talk politics, food, music and life straight out of sunny Southern California. For more episodes, click here.

Radio Menea

As a music-based podcast, Radio Menea brings you a “fabulous mezcla of Latinx music and life.” Verónica Bayetti Flores and Miriam Zoila Pérez flip their playlist between alternative to mainstream and English to Spanish and sprinkle in personal anecdotes which makes you feel like you’re listening to two friends gush over songs in private. For more episodes, click here.

Another music podcast on the list, NPR’s Alt.Latino takes you around the world in search of the best new Rock en Español and Latin Alternative music releases. For more episodes, click here.

Latino Rebels Radio

Latino Rebels Radio (co-hosted by Julio Ricardo Varela @julito77 and Sharis Delgadillo @laxaris) is a live online show every Sunday night at 10pmET on Blog Talk Radio. A podcast version gets published on audioBoom right after the live show ends. The group also features the work of the Latino Media Collective. For more episodes, click here.

Latina Theory

Maria Isa and Arianna Genis, two Latinas from Minnesota, share their stories, play music and discuss politics (and chisme!) in this Spanglish podcast. For more episodes, click here.

Latino Talk

Philly-Rican Ray Collazo brings inspirational interviews and topical discussions with special guests on Latino Talk. For more episodes, click here.

Latino USA

Of course, we weren’t going to keep Maria Hinojosa and our team off this list. For more episodes, click here.
