Elizabeth Loewenthal Torres

Elizabeth Loewenthal Torres is the New York Women’s Foundation Fellow at Latino USA.

She previously worked with NOAA and the National Weather Service, investigating the impact of climate change in the El Paso and Cuidad Juárez border region. She also worked with the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism researching anti-homeless policies in the United States.

She holds a master’s degree in Latin American and Border Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
